Qualcomm Snapdragon 680: balanced and efficient

Snapdragon 680 uses a 6 nm FinFET process and an octa-core CPU with A73 architecture up to 2.8 GHz and A53 architecture up to 1.9 GHz. It features an Adreno 610 GPU at 1115 MHz, Bluetooth 5.1 and a specified benchmark score of more than 280,000 points. It is a balanced choice for GPS navigation, wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and Android apps in the BMW X3 G01.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 685: enhanced graphics performance

Snapdragon 685 also uses a 6 nm FinFET process and an octa-core CPU with A73 cores up to 2.8 GHz and A53 cores up to 1.9 GHz, while raising the Adreno 610 GPU frequency to 1260 MHz. Its specified benchmark score exceeds 350,000 points. This option is designed for customers seeking faster app switching and stronger graphics performance.

Android 14 and GPS navigation for BMW X3 G01

Android 14 lets users run navigation and multimedia apps directly on the display. Wi-Fi or 4G LTE can be used for online maps, traffic information, music streaming and other supported apps. Offline navigation is also possible when the chosen app and map data have been downloaded in advance.

The system is designed to retain access to original controls and the factory interface according to each vehicle's equipment. Availability of individual factory functions, cameras or accessories may depend on the specific BMW X3 G01 configuration.
