Volkswagen digital instrument clusters
Digital instrument clusters for Volkswagen
Volkswagen digital speedometers: Refresh your Volkswagen driver display with a configurable presentation of vehicle information. This range covers different generations of passenger cars, SUVs and work vehicles; it is not one universal cluster for the whole brand.
Choosing a digital cluster for your Volkswagen
The selection includes applications for Golf 5, Golf 6, Golf 7, Passat, Tiguan, Touareg, Caddy, Polo and Amarok. Fitment is checked by reference, not simply by display size or vehicle badge.
Models, generations and factory configuration
Golf MK5, MK6 and MK7 use different units. For Passat, distinguish B6, B7 and applications shared with CC, Scirocco or Arteon. Do not choose between Tiguan references solely by appearance: compare the year and factory cluster. For Polo and Amarok, check the exact TR4991 application.

Functions and differences between Volkswagen clusters
The range combines Linux clusters with selectable layouts and references offering Miracast screen projection. TR4991 includes CarPlay and Android Auto on the cluster. Check each product connection method: screen mirroring and CarPlay are different features.
Instrumentation, connectivity and central screen
A digital instrument cluster displays information in the driver area. CarPlay, Android Auto and Miracast are different functions and should only be treated as included when listed for the selected reference. Operating system, diagonal, resolution and layouts also vary; not every screen is touch-enabled or allows app installation.
Checks before ordering and installation
- Confirm the model, generation and year, including product restrictions.
- Compare a factory cluster photograph and select a variant where offered.
- Check steering side, engine and equipment when required by the product.
- Arrange professional installation and verify indicators, warning lights and information after fitting.
Send an interior photograph before we prepare the order if you need help identifying the configuration. Availability and lead time depend on the reference and selected variant; check the product status.
Frequently asked questions about Volkswagen digital clusters
Does one Golf cluster fit every generation?
No. The model, generation and years in each reference determine fitment. Select the correct MK5, MK6 or MK7 unit and confirm the factory configuration.
Are all original data and functions retained?
This depends on the vehicle and reference. Check the supported indicators and functions in the product; do not assume a function that is not described for that configuration.
