1. Data Controller

(hereinafter, "Tradetec"), with VAT No. B27733070 and registered office at Travesía Monte Pequeño 4 Bajo, Candeán, 36317 Vigo, is the data controller of the personal data you provide through our websites www.tradetecglobal.com, tradetecglobal.com, www.tradetec.es and tradetec.es, as well as through our customer support channels, including WhatsApp Business.

2. Data we process

  • Identity data: name, surname, tax ID, postal address.
  • Contact data: phone, email and WhatsApp number used to contact us.
  • Transaction data: orders, products purchased, payment method, billing and shipping.
  • Communication data: messages, queries and issues you send us, including exchanges through WhatsApp Business.
  • Browsing data: cookies and similar technologies (see section 9).

3. Purpose of processing

  • Management of the sale of products and provision of contracted services.
  • Handling queries, incidents, warranties and technical support, including through WhatsApp Business.
  • Shipping orders through carriers and managing payments (banks, PayPal, SeQura).
  • Compliance with legal obligations (billing, tax and consumer).
  • Sending commercial communications about products and promotions, upon consent.

5. Processing through WhatsApp Business

Tradetec uses the WhatsApp Business platform (Meta Platforms, Inc. and WhatsApp Ireland Limited) to serve its customers. When you write to our number +34 689 45 37 16, messages are processed to provide support.

Messages may be synchronized between the WhatsApp Business app on the company's mobile device and the WhatsApp Business Platform API (coexistence mode), with the conversation history available on both channels. Meta processes data under its Privacy Policy and WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, which you accept by using this channel. We do not share the content of your messages with third parties except to perform the contract or by legal requirement.

6. Data sharing with third parties

  • Carriers and logistics providers for order delivery.
  • Banks and payment platforms (PayPal, SeQura) for payment management.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. / WhatsApp Ireland Limited as messaging provider, within WhatsApp Business.
  • Public authorities, where legally required.

7. Data retention

Data is kept as long as necessary for the purpose collected and to determine liabilities (5 years for tax/accounting purposes; 3 years of legal product warranty). WhatsApp messages are retained per the platform's and Tradetec's retention policy.

8. International transfers

Use of WhatsApp Business involves data transfer to Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA). Meta applies the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and other GDPR safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection.
