Qualcomm 685 performance with 8 GB + 128 GB

The Qualcomm 685 eight-core processor and 8 GB of RAM are designed to provide responsive menu operation and support the use of several system functions. The 128 GB storage capacity provides room for compatible apps, maps and user content. As with any Android device, final performance also depends on installed applications, their versions and background services.

Android 13 environment

Android 13 provides a modern interface and supports applications compatible with the installed system version. The availability of an app, subscription or service may depend on its provider, country, Internet connection and future updates. Tradetec cannot guarantee the continued availability of third-party services.

Vehicle-specific integration

The system is designed to communicate with the vehicle and its original multimedia system through model-specific wiring. Correct identification of the original system is essential. For this product, select CIC or NBT as applicable.

The product wiring material shows connections for original-system power, instrument communication, optical fibre where required, GPS antenna, 4G antenna, USB ports, microphone, reversing-camera video input and a 360° camera-system connection. Effective availability and use of each connection depend on the vehicle's original equipment, fitted accessories and final configuration.

Professional installation and dashboard modification

Installation requires cutting or modifying part of the original dashboard. This must be understood before purchase. It is not a basic installation and it is not an accessory that can necessarily be removed without leaving changes to the modified trim.

Installation must be performed by a professional experienced in BMW interior removal, automotive electronics, optical-fibre systems and multimedia equipment. The installer must protect trim surfaces, test the wiring before closing the dashboard, position antennas and microphone correctly, configure the system and complete a full operational check.

Power, audio, controls, cluster, sensors, cameras, navigation and all related original equipment should be tested before the work is completed. Tradetec does not recommend cutting or adapting the dashboard before the unit, instructions and physical parts have been checked.

Package and accessories

The kit is prepared for the selected model and original system and includes the display assembly and connection components for that configuration. Wiring and accessories may vary between versions. Cameras, 360° systems, SIM cards, data services, tools, consumables and items not expressly confirmed as included should not be assumed to form part of the package.

Certification, approval and vehicle inspection
