10.1-inch Android 15 screen for the 2007-2014 Ford Mondeo MK4
The Ford Mondeo MK4 TR5046 Android head unit combines a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a vehicle-specific fascia incorporating the climate controls shown in the photographs. It updates the centre dashboard with navigation, music and hands-free calling in a horizontal screen format. There is no CD or DVD drive.
This page covers the Ford Mondeo MK4 generation (2007-2014) with the fascia and climate-control layout shown. The head unit must be matched to the vehicle dashboard and original equipment. Compare your dashboard fascia, button layout and climate controls with the images before ordering. The model year alone does not establish compatibility with every dashboard version. Send TradeTec photographs if you need help checking the fitment.
RAM and storage configurations
Select the memory capacity in the dropdown. All configurations use the vehicle-specific fascia covered by this product:
- 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage: base configuration, 6-core processor, from €379 including VAT.
- 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage: 8-core processor, €60 including VAT above the base configuration.
- 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage: 8-core processor, €120 including VAT above the base configuration.
The 4 GB configuration provides navigation and multimedia functions; the higher configurations add memory for running more applications and storage for files. Actual free storage is lower than the nominal capacity because Android and installed applications use part of it.
Wireless CarPlay and 4G: independent options
The base price is for the version without CarPlay and without 4G. Each memory configuration can be combined with these options:
- Wireless CarPlay: adds €30 including VAT. Without CarPlay there is no surcharge. A wired CarPlay variant is not offered for this product.
- 4G SIM reader: adds €30 including VAT. A SIM card and mobile data plan are not included.
The 4/64 configuration with wireless CarPlay and 4G costs €439 including VAT. The surcharge for a higher memory configuration is added to the selected options. Wi-Fi remains available for connecting to a phone hotspot when the 4G SIM reader is not selected. Check the compatibility and requirements of the applications you intend to use.
Display, navigation and everyday functions
- Android 15 operating system with a multilingual interface, including English and Spanish.
- 10.1-inch touchscreen with QLED/IPS display technology and 2.5D glass.
- Resolution depends on the configuration: 1280 × 720 pixels with 4 GB RAM, or 2000 × 1200 pixels with 8 or 12 GB RAM.
- GPS navigation with the included GPS antenna and installation of compatible applications through Google Play.
- Use functions together, such as listening to music while following navigation.
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for hands-free calling and music playback from a compatible phone.
- FM/AM radio with RDS and station presets.
- DSP sound processing and equalisation for adjusting audio playback.
Vehicle integration and accessories
The system supports steering-wheel controls and uses the kit's CAN BUS connection for the corresponding integration. Installation and settings must match the vehicle's original equipment. The climate-control layout and fascia finish must correspond to the supplied version.
USB and RCA connections, a rear-camera input and connections for compatible external accessories provide expansion options. A parking camera, DAB+ receiver, DVR camera, OBD2 adapter and digital TV tuner are external accessories and are not included with the base unit. Check each accessory's connection requirements and compatibility before ordering it.
Package and installation checks
The kit includes the display unit and fascia, CAN BUS connection, GPS antenna, power wiring, USB extension cables and the kit's mounting hardware. Wireless CarPlay and the 4G SIM reader depend on the selected combination.
Professional installation is recommended to check power, wiring, steering-wheel controls, climate controls and any fitted camera. Compatibility with other generations, years or fascia layouts must not be inferred from the Mondeo name alone. The interfaces shown in the photographs may vary with the unit configuration.
